I loved it...sad it's sold now.

I moved here in June, and I haven't experienced any of these problems either...living on the first floor as well but toward the back in the courtyard was a dream come true, my toddler could go out and play around and well, yeah.
It was a beautiful 2 months, but I found out 2 days ago it's been sold and we all have to get out :-( I'm not happy about that.
We even had a barbecue yesterday so I got to meet/say good bye to my neighbors.
I'd like to buy a condo here if they make one out of my apartment...the people who bought it haven't offered anything like that though unfortunately.
Regarding the sound complaints...we are by a busy street, and if there was ever an apartment, as cheap as this one where you couldn't hear anything' I'd think that was strange.
I feel safe knowing other people are around, and if there is a problem they can hear it.

I'm sorry you're going through this - we just got dumped out of West Ridge Park in West Seattle for the same thing. Check out some of the reviews and comments on there (and Graham Street Apartments - another condo conversion in West Seattle) - to see what to expect.
Do you have a lease? If so, they are bound by law to honor it until the end or buy you out of it. If you don't have a lease, they are legally required to give you 90 days notice to vacate. Don't let them scare you out sooner than they have to. You can see the law at http://www.seattle.gov/dclu/publications/cam/cam602.pdf
If they do give you the option to buy it, read the inspection reports VERY carefully and consult with an expert about it. The one for West Ridge Park was very illuminating, especially since they weren't required to fix most of the problems. They wouldn't have been worth buying at the price they asked, in my opinion, due to all the problems. One thing to keep in mind too is that in a conversion, the builder is only able to offer a warranty on the things they actually do. So if they put in, for instance, new kitchen cabinets, those will be under warranty. But if your ceiling falls in, and it was the original ceiling, then you're now responsible as a homeowner.

Yep, I'm not moving out. I've been here two months as well and I'm staying until my lease runs out. I just don't want to deal with packing up everything again and moving. The buyout of 2500 is not worth it to me at this time.
