Please take heed of all of the negative reviews written so far! This used to be a decent apartment community. All of that changed when Allied took over in March 2007. Allied is more concerned with the superficial appearance of the complex than actually maintaining the units themselves. If you need any repairs, good luck getting any response from the management. You will have to practically harass the staff to get anything fixed. Adding to this, the front office staff seems to completely change every 2-3 months, meaning that you will constantly be dealing with uninformed people who are not familiar with you or landlord-tenant laws. If you do decide to move here, read the landlord-tenant laws very carefully as it is guaranteed that they will try to break them to their benefit (especially laws regarding rent increases).

As an example, the exterior lights in my building have been out for more than a month. I have reported this to the management. My neighbors have reported this to the management. We are still without lights. This is a clear safety hazard and pretty much sums up how little Allied group cares about or respects their tenants.

Just wondering if this had been fixed yet? Perhaps management is trying to fix it and can not? You can only do so much if it is the cities responsibility.

if it sucked so much why did you stay there for 4 years? Are you still in the complex? Did you truly READ your rental agreement before you signed it? How much of that went over your head? People truly rely on this site for reviews (especially when relocating). Please try and keep your personal issues just that....personal.

Um, Anonymous 8/7/08, did you actually read my review or are you just a management shill? I was perfectly happy there until the last year when Allied took over. I actually did read my lease and the tenant laws, so I DID know when they were breaking the law, unlike a lot of tenants there. As a matter of fact, when did I ever mention problems with my lease? I believe the problem mentioned is with Allied actually upholding their end of the law in providing tenants with on-time repairs and a safe living environment. Read (and think) before you post.
