Wow! These reviews are amazing. I sense a bit of hostility. Well I have to say that I have had a completly different expericence. I recently moved in at West Ridge Park Late January. I have since had the chance to talk a lot with the management. When I first moved in there was always different people in the office, all temp except the Manager. I was unsure about the manager, she was a nice woman, but not the greatest manager. She was not very good at answering questions, and because the other people in the office were temps they didn't know much either. They were able to hire one full time person in February and she was extremely nice and always seemed like she truely cared about the community. Then they hired another full time employee and also a new manager. I have gone to the last two community functions that they had and it was a blast. I really think that the new management team will make this community turn around.
I do agree that parking is a problem, but it is no where near as bad as it was. I happen to come into the office one day when the leasing agent was personally calling to verify that their parking records matched the residents. I was very impressed. It seems like we are having fewer parking problems with the assigned spaces. I do agree that there needs to be more visitor spaces, but remember that guest can park on the city street as well. So long as residents follow the laws that your car has to be moved every 24hrs. As for the additional spots, I think that it is completly fair that they charge for the additional spaces. They give us one for free with our rent, and it is a privelige to have more than one car so it isn't their problem to give everyone extra free spaces. I don't think it is fare that those who are to cheap to pay for an additional spot; take advantage of the visitor parking. No wonder our guests don't have anywhere to park....
When you talk about the quality of the homes; lets get real people. We are living in apartments you are going to hear your neighbors every once in awhile. For as large as this property is I think we have it pretty good here. I have noticed that the seattle PD patrol here just to keep us that much safer. I love it. The remodels look great and the grounds are beautiful. Oh, please stop letting your dogs play in the tennis courts...the "DOG RUN" is across the parking lot for a reason!
All in all, I really like what the new management team is doing with the community. It is becoming an even better place to live. Great location, great people, community events with prizes. I just can't wait for the pool to open!

I'm glad to hear that things are going better. Wonder if Wendy Pearson still is the portfolio manager?

Sounds like someone from management (or someone on behalf of management) wrote this review! Seriously...
