These apartments are very small, especially the 1 bedroom. The kitchen area is practically useless. It doesn't even have a drawer big enough for a silverware tray. Our stovetop has never worked right, and the apartment is always cold. We would have to have our heater going full blast all the time to warm it up, and that would cost a small fortune. Access the apartments is off of Highway 99. A very busy road indeed. Rarely are you able to make a left turn onto 99 from the driveway of the complex.

Worst of all the owner of the complex is completely unwilling to bend his rules for the tenants at all. We have a small (very small) chest freezer that we've kept on our back porch for the two months that we've lived here so far, and now the owner want's it removed. Of course he just works through his management company, so there is little recourse from our end to try and resolve the issue.

I apologize for sounding so negative, but had we known all that would go wrong here we would have definately moved elsewhere. We won't be extending our 6 month lease.

I would recommend the Ballinger Commons apartment complex. It has much better freeway access, and side street access, and the amenities are better. The rent (for a 1 bedroom is about $40 per month, but they are much more spacious.)
