Tiny apartments with the smallest kitchen in the world

The apartments are small but the kitchens are so small you can't even get two people in them at once. The drawer sizes for all three drawers are cut down so narrow that you can't fit a silverware organizer in there and the three cupboards are inadequate for storing both food and dishes. There are three counter tops if you count the one that's behind the refrigerator so you'd better not want to have a toaster and a microwave both. The appliances are old and don't work great but they do make a ton of noise. The washer squeaks and the dryer takes two hours to dry anything and they're the small kind that you can only wash 5 items at a time in. No wonder the water bill is so high! At least they get things clean though which is more than can be said of the ancient dishwasher. The heater grinds away so loud you have to turn up the sound on the tv to hear over it and there's no temperatures listed on the thermostat. You just turn the knob and see if you're still cold or if you get too hot. After a couple months, you can usually find a happy medium. There's a pool but you can't ever get in it because it's filled with tons of kids. That's not necessarily a bad thing though because it's the only time they're not playing in the parking lot and screaming outside your window. The walls seem to hold in the noise okay but the ceiling and floor let you hear everything that goes on in the apartments above and below you. You'll need to pay for a parking spot if you can get one because otherwise there is literally no where to park. The lot fills up and there isn't anywhere for alternative parking since it's right off of Aurora. Most people end up double parking or blocking the fire hydrant in desperation. Even if you do get assigned parking, plan on coming home to find someone in your spot at least a dozen times a year and there's nothing you can do about it because the office is only open until 6:00 pm and unless you work nights or really close by, they'll be gone by the time you get home. The apartments are just not very nice considering the amount of money you're spending on them. Basically, they're trying to make you think that living on the lake is worth all of this headache but believe me, it's not.
