These apartments are government susidized, so the rent is reasonably low (about 60% of other area rentals). With a County Sherriff's office across the street, security is good too. This also brings the only drawbacks to the units themselves; no dishwasher, no in-unit laundry. But, for those on a tight budget (single-parent, low-ranking military, etc.) it can't be beat. The manager and other staff members are friendly and helpful, and the complex is close to the center of town (Kitsap mall is 10 minute walk).
