I've been living in these apartments with my Girlfriend since March of 07 and I have not had a happy moment since. On the outside this looks like a normal mid to up scale apartment complex. The location is wonderful there is parking galore and by just the over all look is quite appealing. It s not until you actually move in and have to deal with the people running the place that you find out your living in the apartment complex from hell.

We were scheduled to move in February of 2007 my girlfriend canceled her previous lease which ended the end of January and we we re all packed and ready to move in. We called them 3 days before the first of February to find out when we could get a key so we could start moving in and to our surprise they said that their initial move in date had been set back a few weeks which ended up being a month . So here my girlfriend and I are with out a place to stay because we had just gotten out of our previous lease. Upon hearing this they offered to let us stay in one of their "Town Houses" which were nothing more then filthy two story apartments, for free until they had finished remolding the apartments after they had just had structural and water damage. The town house we moved into hadn t been cleaned yet, the garage was still full of the previous tenants garbage. The carpet was stained with mud god only knows what else. The kitchen was a mess and the fridge and freezer were absolutely filthy and the dryer didn't produce any heat. They told us they wound have someone in to clean the apartment some time that week. No one showed up the entire month we were their and we ended up cleaning most of it our selves because we didn't want to live in a sty regardless if it was free or not.

We weren t able to move into our apartment till almost half a week into March because they were still waiting on "BRAND NEW" appliance to install. To our amazement new appliances meant a hole where the dishwasher was supposed to go a fridge that looked like it was from the 60's a tiny washing machine and a dryer that didn't produce any heat. We were told that the washing machine would be there in a week and they were going to send someone down to fix our dryer with in a few days. Not to mention they upped our rent $20 more then the quoted price because of the new carpet (the old was ruined from the water damage) and appliance. By the end of March we still didn't have our dish washer and our dryer still didn't produce any heat. I had been into the office every week question about the progress of our appliances and was told every time that the work order had been put in and it was just a matter of time and to expect them in a week or so. Two weeks into April we finally got our dishwasher but still no one came to fix out dryer. Again every week I went down to the office to ask when it was going to get fixed and again the same answer. the work order has been put in and you're on the list we should be getting to it in about a week.

The last straw occurred when one of our cats decided they wanted to use my dress pants as a hairball receptacle, a I had to go to a job interview with soaking wet pants. After I returned from my interview I marched into the office and using some very UN favorable language demanded where the F is my new dryer, an hour later they sent someone down to look at the dryer found that the coil was bust and said i could wait for a replacment one or get a new dryer order. two days later I had a brand new dryer. I am not rude or mean person by any means but that was the only way I could get it threw those stupid office women s heads that I wanted my dryer and I wanted it 3 months ago.

The minuscule storage on your front porch is useless at best but you get to pay for it just the same. The previous tenants who rented the apartment before us decided to walk away with the keys, this wouldn't have been a problem but we were on the ground floor and anyone could at any time just walk up and take what ever we had in their and we'd be none the wiser until we went out there. Once again after going into the office and asking when they were going to get a locksmith to come out and cut us a new set of keys for the tiny closet of space we were paying for but unable to use, I broke down and went to home depot and purchased my own door handle and tore theirs off and put mine on. p.s. if you move in to apartment and they don t have a key for the door chanced are I took the keys with me.

Then new management took over around July-August this year 2007. Hooray now we ll have competent people working there WRONG. The same dumb wenches are working in the office the only improvement is the grass actually gets mowed. However if you live on a bottom floor the grounds keepers like to use a leaf blower and spray your porch with a bunch of debris. Now instead of being able to use the trash compacter out side they put a key mechanism on it so once its filled up people just toss their garbage and let it pile up until someone from the maintenance crew comes and out turns the compacter on and then chucks the mountain of garbage in. Did I mention the trash compacter is NEXT to the play ground, and they wonder why the kinds are playing in the street around the apartments, because they don't want to play next to the mountain of garbage that stinks'

Another way the new management is completely incompetent is my girlfriend and I signed a year long lease march 07-08, August 13 we receive a notice on our door saying our lease is up at the end of the month. If we wanted to we could renew our lease at with a $40$ increase from 695 amonth to 735 OR we could do a month to month lease at 785 a month... At this point we are tickled to death because we had been trying to find away out of our lease for some time now. We went in filled out the paper work, and will be out of there at the end of September because the person I signed the notice of vacate with didn't have authorization to sign those papers with me. Apon filling out their paper work we received a call saying we couldn't move out because low and behold they screwed up and we had a 12 month contract. By this time we had already gone out and put our down payments on a bigger, cheaper and cleaner apartment and told them that they must honor their mistake because they put the notice on our door and we took it as a written termination of our contract. They didn't like that to much and said that we had to stay till the end of September because our paper work wasn't valid but they would let us out.

Some time ago between September 11th 17th they decided to pressure wash the outside hallway and left all the standing water to dry on its own. Aparently there is a problem with the seal on our door stop and a great amount of water leaked into our front door soaking the carpet and saturating the wall with water. Upon packing to leave we pulled our movie cases off the wall and found it caked in THICK BLACK MOLD and a mushroom clump about the size of tennis ball growing in the corner. We alerted the office of this and had them come down and see if for them selves. They walked in looked at it wrinkled their nose and said they we re going to document it. No one has been in to clean the mold off the wall. I tried to clean it my self with a 1/4th bleach 3/4th water mix and when I tried to wipe the wall down the wall molding started to peal off. My girlfriend and I are now staying in a garage until our next apartment is ready for us at the beginning of October because we don't want to breathe in mold spores because we can't afford to get sick. And their in no rush to clean it for us. Not to mention ROBIN the officer worker who came down and saw the mold and mushroom never offered to put us up in a empty apartment untill it was cleaned and or we moved out in 2 weeks. 4 days later i went into the officer to demand a pro-rated refund for the time we'd been out of a home because of mold infestation and come to find out "ROBIN" never called management or even told maintinance that we had mold. Hopfuly the new management will do do us good even though theirs only two days left untill we are out.

If you like living in a slum with Bainbridge island prices this is the place for you. The amount of crap, ignorance and stress you'll go threw at this place is enough to drive you mad.

They don't send out bill notices.
the walls are paper thin cuz you can hear everything.
The office staff must suffer from ADD because their not paying attention to a word you're saying
Robin the office troll is a great actress she seams to be really concerned about your complaint and or problem tells you she's going to write up a work request or take care of something for you. as soon as you leave that office she forgets every word you've said. She has no moral fibers, care or concern for your personal health and safty. DO NOT BE FOOLED.
The pool they advertise is the size of a McDonalds ball pit and is closed half the time
Their computers they have for you to use are from 1990, slower then a turtle and are broken half the time
The so called gym they have is hand me down junk that is either broken or held together with duct tape, and the tanning bed looks like a health hazard.

There are much better apartments with better prices. But the parking is great LOL

if you are unfortunate enought to move in here tell them you are not paying a dime in rent untill everything is fixed and or working.

Yeah now you have to pay for the ample parking, my apt flooded twice!!!! once from the toilet and we had put a fix request in weeks prior and didnt get anybody to fix it ofcourse and my toilet was continuously running one day and flooded my apt. Dirty toilet water everywhere! and nobody came til 5 hours later to extract the water that flooded almost 3 inches in 2 of the rooms all of the hallway and some feet into the master. So I had to find a way to keep my 6 yr old and 2 year old to stay away from that side of the house preventing them from catching ecoli, and they didnt offer us a place to stay or to shampoo the carpet, so we shampooed the carpet ourselves and had to live in toilet water for three days. Then! Within a week! The washer statrted flooding the kitchen! It was leaking out the bottem and there was so much water in the kitchen that the huge throw rug that was lying in there was floating. SO im freaking out its 11pm and im shoveling buckets of water into the sink so it wouldnt spread into the living room where all the elictrical was like the compututer and tv outlets. And ofcourse they couldnt get anyone by til the next day, And the maintanance guy from the maintanance emergency number said he would be by at 8am...nope...i thinik around 11am Im not sure beacuse me and my family just left for the night, the water was overwhelming me too much to stay and just stare at another water disaster. Other than the water escapades...the apt is so cheaply built that apon on moving day 2 of the molding siding in the house just fell off after just barely scraping it with a bag of clothes, a hole was created in the door just by me simply knockin on it with my fist to see if someone was in the bathroom, the closet doors fall off just by opening them, theres cracks on the walls and fireplace that im betting theyre gonna try and make me pay for in the end, The kitchen cabinets are made out of paper and plaster, the appliances dont work like the dishwasher which weve been trying to get fixed since we moved in 6 months ago. THe sink had stopped up and no1 came to fix it so after 2 weeks i had it and found a way to fix it myself. Aswell with the master toilet. AND ONTOP OF EVERYTHING there is no source of cable in the upper units, ur not aloud to have sattelite even tho people have sattelite attached to their apts, but for sum reason you cant. And the only amount of entertainament is about 30 channels that dont include some of the most major networks! The only upside to this hellish journey at quail hallow is in the upper part u have nice sunsets...thats it! FOr God sakes and everything that is holy do not move into quail hollow. ITs way to expensive for whats inside and they dont pay all major utilities like water sewer. for $1085 a month better off in a 1400 sq foot house then a cheaply made, badley run, everything breaking apt.
