Our Worst apartment experience

We've lived here for about 6 months now, and, although the apartment is renovated and very nice looking at first, there were several problems with it and the complex we found after we moved in.
First of all, the leasing office does not care about the residence and being comfortable here. They are rude and inconsiderate. The maintenance staff is very nice, however, as we've had to deal with them several times for various fixes that have had to be done in this "newly renovated apartment."
We were told the pool/rec center area would be opened in July... didn't open until October, after the summer was over. Got very little use out of it, although the pool is indoors, which is nice.
Toilets didn't work very well when we moved in, one was not even securely placed. The raised counter between the kitchen and dining room FELL OFF in our first week here. The fireplace was broken and didn't get fixed for a week after moving in. Carpets were stained. Sound insulation very poor (we can tell exactly what the upstairs neighbors are saying).
Basically, it is an overpriced apartment with little features that constitute the price. It would be fine... if it was $300 cheaper. When I pay this kind of money, I expect a quality apartment with friendly staff.
