I currently live in these apartments. Me and my roomate had looked around at all the apartments in the area and honestly, The Reserve had the best looking ones. The management was only polite in the beginning. We had to sign papers first BEFORE getting to do a walk through. When you're excited to move into a new place, you tend to overlook the important things. After living there for a few weeks we started noticing all the imperfections!! They really did just paint over everything. Nothing is really "renovated." AND I wouldn't describe these apartments as "Luxury apartments." The cabinets in the kitchen aren't new!! They were just painted over. This is the worst paint job I have EVER seen. The carpets may be new, but that's about it.. everything.. and I mean is just painted over. We were fortunate enough to get a new washer and dryer in our unit, as well as dishwasher, fridge, and stove. HOWEVER, there has been many issues with the appliances. The walls are thin. Don't even bother trying to even think that the staff would have any sympathy towards any issues you may have. They are all b*tches. I wouldn't live here. If I had enough money to break my lease... I would! The clubhouse is all new, and again.. there is a However! It is always muggy and steamy hot in there for some reason. It's impossible to work out in that "gym" there is no ventilation. There's a lot of issues with this place and the management. The only upside to anything is that it's a very small town, your options are limited... these apartments might be as good as it gets.
ALSO!!! It is not fair that they keep dropping the prices on these apartments and still expect the current tenants to pay more while new tennants are paying almost $100 less! They are SOOO desperate to fill these apartments that they drop prices... hire someone to stand on the street with those "now renting" signs.. seriously.. why would a "luxury place" need someone to stand on the corner of the street and hold up a sign''
With the price I'm paying for these shitastic apartments, I could buy a house and pay the same amount in mortgage payments! Which is what I plan to do when my lease is up!!!
