I lived here in the early 1990s.
The two big problems at the time:
1) The outside common area lights were wired to my electrical pannel and, of course, I was paying for them. If you live in a second floor corner, check your breaker box for an unlabeled breaker at the bottom and shut it off at night while looking outside your front door.
2) There is no sound insulation between the floors and walls. You can hear your neighbors doing everything.

Why would you review an apt you lived in over a decade ago? How do you even know if those problems still exist? I think that is very unfair.

To Anonymous?????? reply on 04/14/2009: I reviewed this apartment after over a decade because I can. The review reflected my opinion of these apartments for that time period. If things have changed over the years, for better or worse, current or former residents can make note of it in their reviews. Regarding the electrical wiring: At that time, the property management company ignored my concern about the electrical wiring for months and that is why I feel like it needed to be addressed here. I finally rounded up other residents who were also living in incorrectly wired apartments and contacted the Spokane Rental Housing Mediation Board. Strangely, my contact person at the RHMB was an employee of the property management company ?????? a big conflict of interest. Unfortunately, the property management company made no attempt to physically remedy the electrical wiring and told me that they weren??????t going to either. Chances are that the problems were never addressed after I vacated the apartment, so I post this review as a notice to others about my experience here. If you read the other, more recent reviews, nothing seems to get fixed at this complex anyway. By the way, live isn??????t fair. My opinion and review of these apartments still stands.
