If you are considering living at Cedar Creek...any of them, please be aware of the poor management, uneducated staff & slow maintenance. Yes the apartments are fairly less expensive than others, but in the year & 6 months we have had rate increased at least twice. There were no Lease Extensions, meaning around 60 days previous to your lease expiration date...an Apartment Manager contacts you by letter offering an incentive for you to sign another 6-12 month lease. THESE PEOPLE DO NOT KNOW A THING ABOUT PROPERTY MANAGEMENT OR LOYALTY. This property has been through 3 managers since we have been here, 1 1/2 years.
Maintenance is ridiculous, you have to put your request in on specific days or your request will not be taken care of until the next week. Even if it is 100 degrees outside & your a/c breaks, that is not considered an emergency, you will have to wait. After waiting the a/c still doesn't work! The a/c is located in the bedroom & does not cool the entire 920sqft, it may be b/c it is a 10 year old a/c'! We still have not had our light bulbs replaced in our refrig, bathroom & dining area...it has been over 6 months since that request.
Recently, I guess, there were pool keys given out to all tenants'' We did not get a letter informing us about this nor did we get a key. July 4th week we want to swim & cannot get in, called office...closed. Luckily another couple came down & let us in but we were furious. Why were we not informed of this new change' In-between manager #2 & #3 someone dropped the ball.

Garage has uneven slanted door so water leaks into it, if you can even get into it...the door/lock is extremely hard to get unlocked. Couldn't tell you what our storage looks like b/c every time we go & get the key to get into the area, the key doesn't work! The intelligent staff insists it does but not once have they went to check(maybe the wrong key was given'!). Cars have been broken into!
