The price is cheaper for these apartments than others in the area, but you get what you pay for! Basically, I stayed here because it was close to work and all the other apartments with units this size were already full in other complexes. Parking is a complete nightmare. There are hundreds of handicapped parking spots, but not near enough general parking. I frequently end up parking my car on the opposite side of the complex from my unit. They provide garages, but they are very small and not secure. I can fit a minivan into the garage, but there is only room to open the doors on one side of the vehicle, so either the passenger can get in/out or the driver can once the car is parked. My garage was broken into and the management did not do anything about it. When I reported the theft, management's answer was that it was impossible for someone to break into the types of garages they have here. When I explained the situation further, they continued to argue that I was mistaken about the garage being broken into. Many of my neighbors have had their garages broken into as well.
Maintenance is very poor. Once a maintenance request is put in, I had to call daily to check up on them and see if they would be coming to fix it. It took them six months to fix the door to my laundry room, and an entire year to replace a broken screen in the window. (Once the maintenance man came to my unit, it took him literally five minutes to re-attach the new door.) The apartment above me had a massive water leak, and I had to call the managers every day just to make sure they got the carpets cleaned and dried out. They were constantly late for appointments, and they did not return my phone calls. The only way I was able to get any action from them was to call when someone was in the office, ask for a time when they would call me back, and keep calling them when they missed appointments.
As far as noise is concerned, I've lived in worse places. The bathrooms seem to be poorly insulated against noise, however. If someone is using the restroom in the unit above you when you are in your bathroom, everything is audible. I also had to complain repeatedly about some noisy neighbors who eventually moved out.
The windows and air conditioners are in weird places inside the units. The kitchen and living room windows in my unit don't even open. The air conditioning unit is located in the kitchen, which is relatively closed off from the rest of the apartment, so the kitchen can be freezing while the rest of the house is very hot. Also, if you live in a ground floor unit, you will have a problem with ants. That is especially bothersome when the ants start their mating flights; I ended up with a kitchen full of swarms of flying ants.
Overall, the staff seems very friendly when you are talking to them face-to-face, but they never follow through on their promises to deal with problems. I would not recommend this apartment complex.

I live on the ground floor and I have serious ant problems in my kitchen! I called over a week ago and they just came out today to spray for a 3rd time. Then found a note taped to my door saying because I had placed a single tied up bag of trash outside my front door that that is what is causing my ant problem!!! These places are crap and I hate it here!
