Disgusting

Last summer my boyfriend and I had seen these apartments on the internet. We saw the pictures of the inside of the apartments, as well as the pool, and grounds and thought that they looked pretty impressive.
We then called to inquire about deposits, parking, storage, etc...We spoke to the manager and everything seemed to check out, so we put a hold deposit on a two bedroom, one bathroom.
One month later, we packed up our U-Haul and headed to Spokane (from Seattle). Upon arrival we immediatly noticed that the pictures were very decieving. The apartments and grounds looked completely different, and not to mention un-kept, but we decided to roll with it.
We sat down with the manager...I can not seem to recall her name, but she did not dress very professionally and was very impatient with all of our questions about their website showing different pictures of "Meadow Ridge". She immediately tried to rush us in to a lease and then showed us to the apartment, which on the phone she explained had new carpet, fixtures, appliances, fresh paint, etc...
For starters, as she was unlocking the door to our "new" apartment, the tenants below us were in the middle of being arrested by the police for drug possession, and the potent smell of cat urine filled the air from their apartment. We were very disappointed.
After we entered the place, we noticed that the inside of the apartment looked nothing like the pictures either. The floor in the kitchen was peeling, the carpet smelled wet and moldy, there was a large hole in the living room ceiling and several in the bedrooms, the windows had permanent fog, the toilet did not work properly, and the "new" appliances could have been from the 1970's from the looks.
