They use false ads and pics to get you in. They show you one apartment that has all new and clean only to find out that it is not one you re renting. The one you are renting has not been updated since the 60s. The common areas are not maintained. The steps are falling apart; the landings are not in much better shape. They charge you extra so you can just have a parking spot that is covered. If you don't do that then your parking on the street most night if you get off work too late to find one in the under sized lot for residents. With the ever changing managers getting a real answer or anything fixed is a total joke. I have been lied to by their managers on too many times to count. Their rules on pets are also a total joke. They charge you a fee just to have one and then charge you extra for cleaning because you had an animal. I followed their rules but I think I was the only one. I really got tired of having to walk around all the droppings on the walkways and stairs. The drug activity is bad and they do nothing about it, but keep renting to more of the same. Almost every weekend the cops show up at the complex. Also when moving out make sure you pay very close attention to the manager; they sure know how to make up things to charge you with. They also love to charge you for things they say they have to replace but they don't, that way they can just charge the next poor soul with it again when they move out. The manager also made changes to the documents after I had signed them. That way they could justify charging me more fees and taking more of my deposit. I have decided to wash my hands of them. Other than to try and warn as many people as I can to stay away from Meadow Ridge and the parent company HSC.

I used to live there and am looking for another place to live and completely disagree with this. The manager is great now and have really enjoyed Meadowridge. The parking is the same anywhere you look, not to mention I have never had a problem with that. I cleaned my apartment when i moved out, so I didn't recieve any extra charges, maybe others should have done the same.

I didn't live in Meadow Ridge, however I do know that HSC if not a good company and they are very decetful and much of what this guy said is true and it happened to me. I use to live at Montgomery Court which isn't too far from Meadow Ridge. My advice is to stay away from any apartment complex that is owned by HSC.
