So heres the deal. I moved into a one bedroom apartment about a year and a half ago. Nothing had been cleaned prior to me moving in. In fact the blinds were so caked in filth that even bleach water wouldnt clean them. My plug ins were all screwed up, the lights stopped working in my bedroom, living room and entry. the manager did nothing about it. she found out i was an exotic dancer and after that it was all down hill. she withheld my mail, i called the cops and she of course didnt have anything, except for one document she just 'happened' to have received. never mind the christmas presents my fiances mom sent but we never got. my dishwasher broke and was flooded inside, she did nothing about that but later sent up a maintenance guy to look at my apartment because the people below me had their light fixtures filling up with liquid. i asked if it could possibly be from my dishwasher being it was their kitchen light. he said absolutely not, in fact they thought i was somehow draining urine into their fixtures. Also my fiance had lived in eagle rock before we met and his door had been kicked in and he had been robbed. there was a police report and everything. the door wouldnt even close, three weeks passed with the managers knowing and doing nothing. he finally moved out with me because it wasnt safe to be there. he had one month left on the lease. now they're trying to sue him for 3500, except we havent heard from them since we hired a lawyer. i called to let them know that they needed to send proof of their attempts to send the supposed debt to collections and he told me he wouldnt do anything but i had damn well better give him my money. they would call sometimes up to a dozen times in a row. horrible absolutely horrible experience, it was this place that made me decide never again live in an apartment. management was awful, disgusting units, and ugly unkempt property along with a laundromat with non working machines. dont rent from these people theyre crooks.
