I moved into these apts because I was new in Spokane area. I would NOT ever recommend anyone to live in these apts. First, there are trains that go by all hours of the day and blow their horn repeatedly. Which is really annoying especially in the warmer months when you would like to open up the windows. Next, the location is not convenient because of the roundabout that was recently put in by the city last summer (2008). This has caused big problems coming and going from this location. You can NOT go eastbound on Montgomery into the apt complex. Which makes this roundabout very un-functional. Plus, in the winter months when it snows trucks keep getting stuck / jackedknife at the round about. Which causes a back up in traffic and delaying people to work. Furthermore, the management is slow at getting the snow shoveled during the winter months which causes cars to get stuck or even snowed in. Also, there have been many problems with people cars getting broken into and even stolen. (This I know personally)

I use to live here as well, and I personally know about the car break-ins. Sounds like not much has changed. In my opinion any HSC properties aren't worth what they are charging. I have read some other reviews that are owned by HSC and many of their tenants aren't happy and complain of the same problems. Please be careful when thinking about renting these apartments, it could cost you a lot more money than you think.

Just so you know you can get your car borken into anywhere the place is not really a factor. Also We are no longer with HSC so our standards and customer service is completely different. Give us a chance before you state what has nothing to do with who runs the office now.

That is true that you can get your car broken into anywhere. However, it seems to be a real problems here at Montgomery Court Apts. Just yesterday I spoke to another neighbor that lives here and he mentioned that his car has been broken into recently and that he now has to pay for a garage to park his car. Plus, he mentioned that he also know 2 other tenants that had their apartments broken into on the bottom floor. It just doesn??t sound like these apartments are a safe place to live.
