We have lived in Pineview apartments for 9 months, and are now at the end of our lease. At the beginning of our lease we were promised (and indeed it was in the lease agreement) that we would have a "club room" for use, but it wasn't finished when we moved in. Well, it took 8 and 1/2 months to finish, which was nearly the whole term of our lease, also, in the 9 months we've been there the apartment has gone through 3 managers and 2 maintenance guys, the new maintenance guy; Adam, is a really good guy, but the manager leaves much to be desired;
she's never in the office, she has her boyfriend living in the office because he doesn't have a proper lease or apartment, AND he uses the tenant facilities for free. When she first moved here she wanted a certain apartment and so she tried to dig for complaints from other tenants so that she could evict the occupants of the one she wanted.

Also, my roommates and I are well liked by our neighbors. We've never had a complaint. However, one night a young man drove across the grass in between our buildings because it was covered in snow and the lawn was not properly marked. So, my roomates went out to help him get off the grass. Well, the other tenants told her that it was US driving on the lawn, and when we went to renew our lease she told us that it would not be renewed. We asked why and she said that she had "written statements" saying it was us. When we explained what happened she just told us again that our lease was denied. We asked for the number of her higher-ups and she refused to give it to us saying "that's not our policy" and when we asked to see the statements she again refused.

Now, for a tenant that has never had a complaint against her to be denied for renewal, and then denied any way to appeal is not fair treatment at all. You can be sure she won't have her job for long.

DO NOT rent from pineview as long as Sandy Valentine is the manager.
