My #1 complaint about my apartment is the industrial carpet in the kitchen. Is it really that much cheaper on their end than linoleum' It's hard to clean up any kitchen spills, it looks gross and no matter how much you vacuum it will never look/feel clean. Even reasonable wear and tear (which apartments can NOT charge you for when you leave) on the kitchen carpet makes it look awful. Also, it kind of bothers me that the linoleum in each of my bathrooms is different....it's like they just grab whatever they have extra materials for and slap it in the apartment. The carpet in the rest of the apartment is cheap, even by apartment standards. Maintenance work is completed super fast but management is hesitent to send anyone but their own maintenance staff, so if the problem is more serious be prepared to have the Douglass maintenance guys temporarily fix your problem 5 or 6 times before they even bother paying an outside person to do the job right. The people that work in the office are generally very friendly and nice. The gym is pretty nice too, they only have cardio machines though.

The only thing that keeps me living here is how large my apartment is for the price I pay for it comapred to other nicer apartment complexes in Spokane. I love the raised ceilings, makes the apartment feel even larger. Parking isn't impossible but occasionally it's really hard to find a spot. The apartments look really nice from the outside, the grounds are very well maintaned. Also, not too far from Costco, Target, etc. aLKeoXpj3s4OSgrp1trb
