I agree with the management problems for sure. You can always tell the leasing people are talking about you or have talked about you by the way they look at each other every time you walk through the door. I lived here in 2006, moved to seattle and when we moved back went to Rockcliffe again. The first time was great, the second time was horrible. We moved in and the dishwasher did not work over thanksgiving weekend. We called to have it fixed and we were told it would be taken care of, they closed early and no one ever came. I asked to have the maintenance person paged, and was told it wasnt an emergency. We waited 5 days to have it fixed. They came monday morning and it was broke again that night. This happened about 3 more times. We were finally given a new dishwasher which didnt work either. It ended up being a shortage in the breaker. 2 motnhs later I went in to pay rent and the next day a work order was on my table stating my dishwasher was fixed... we never requested it to be "fixed" again, it broke the next day. ------ was very helpful and kind to us and it all worked out.

During the winter, the complex was plowed between 12-2 everyday (which didnt help when we had to be to work by 8 and our cars get stuck). We complained daily, after missing three days of work I got very angry and told Velda ( who is extremely unhelpful and Completely OVERWHELMING, always ofering advice about everything when she is not asked) if the complex wasnt plowed they could pay us for missing work because we had to use vacation days which isnt fair when the main roads are plowed. I let her know that we were once again stuck and she came with a shovel to get us out. We lived at the back end of the complex and there was no way that she was going to dig a path for us all the way to the main road, seriously!


I would not move in here again, nor would I reccomend that you do. Pay $20 more and live somewhere else. These were just a few of the many problems we had. Dont do it, at least while Velda is there...she is difficult to work with, completely overwhelming, and inappropriate. The upper management was good to us when we bipassed the two front desk people. Oh yeah, they NEVER answer the phones, you always have to leave a message with the answering service and hope for a call back or sit out front of the office until someone comes in.
