I lived there from August 2005 until January 2005. My apartment smelled like cat piss, I couldn't get teh kitchen or the bathroom clean, the balcony screen was broken and they wouldn't fix it, and it looked as though it hadn't even been cleaned since the last tenant moved out! I moved in and found hair and left over food in the fridge. I moved out in January after taking a new job in a different city. I paid a full months rent and the landlord prompty moved in a new tenant and told me they would issue a prorated refund, it's been almost 7 months and I still haven't seen it! I also never saw any refund check for my deposit, I didn't even see a statement of why they were keeping it. Under the Washington State Landlord-Tenant law they have to send you a refund or a statement within 14 days or you can sue for DOUBLE the amount! Needless to say I am sueing for double the deposit I paid 400 so I'm sueing for $800 and for the prorated rent $220. Since they broke the landlord tenant law and never issued a statement or a refund I have a strong case. I have also reported them to the BBB and they have ignored the BBB as well. STAY AWAY!!!
