We love this apartment. We have two kids and there are lots of places for them to run and play outside. The pool is kid friendly as well. There's a nice clubhouse to hang out in if people come to visit you. The managers and staff have all been very helpful. I've lived in apartments in California and we did a lot of apartment shopping here before we moved. We wanted this one because it's the best one in this area that we could find.

The management is great until you sign papers. Then they are worthless. I guess that's how most sales people are, which is unfortunate since people are paying an outrageous amount for rent. I'm sure that the "community", as they call it, was very nice when it was new, but they are very run down and need some serious work. It's a bit embarassing to have guests come over and see how poorly they have been taken care of especially when they know how much $$ you are paying.

Strange how you mention "... (we)have two kids and there are lots of places for them to run and play outside" while ten other reviewers complain about kids running wild, unsupervised. Yes, aside from Disneyland, this seems to be the happiest place on earth for lazy parents who just want turn their kids loose. I lived at the Pig in '99 but it's fun to come back and see how nothing has changed. I yelled at kids for throwing rocks at my car. I had to deal with garbage pickup issues. I had to deal with loud neighbors. But hey, they gave me free cookies every time I went in to pay my rent!

It sounds like you would be happiest in a "55 " community. My kids are never outside unless my wife or I are with them, so it must be someone else's who are "running wild and unsupervised".
