Maple Court Apartments are the worse apartments ever...We were trick. They told us to sign a lease that states $50.00 is non-refundabe and $149.00 is refundable. However, when we moved out, they only refunded us $24.00 not $149.00. They said because we had to pay for $125.00 carpeting cleaning. They never told us that we need to pay for this carpet cleaning charge. If they wanted to charge the $125.00 and they should not tell us that $149.00 is refundable. We feel like we were trick. We left our apartment in good condition but they didn't give us the $149.00 refundable fee. And the water fee is terrible expensive. It costs about $80.00 per month for a couple. They add sewer fee in our water bill. Overall, they are so many things are unreasonable. I won't recommend anyone move in there. You will be very very disappointed at them...

Standard apartment protocol. Frankly, I'd be overjoyed if all they took was 125 for carpet cleaning. Unless you clean the carpets yourself and produce the paperwork as proof, apartment complexes will *always* charge your deposit for the cleaning fees. Always. That's the purpose of the deposit, to ensure these things get paid for by the resident.

To respond to a ligament complaint by saying you would be overjoyed to be paying "only" $125 for carpet cleaning can only be said by someone who wouldn't have taken the time to clean the place as this person did. It's "only" $125 if you haven't gotten on your knees to clean the place before turning the keys back over to the management. It was unprofessional have charged this tenant. (aka. predatory practices)
