In Scandia Village there is no apt 5J, only #1-#32.
(In reference to the last review). There has never been air conditioning, the washing machines take only coin, never credit cards, and I'm sure the management does not smile when most of the tenants move in, as this is income restricted housing. There are laws that prevent a company from picking "good folks", so they are probably stuck with what they get. As a new resident here, I can only speak for the last 6-7 months, but there is now onsite management, and there has been improvement as now we can find them anytime, instead of having to leave a message, and now the landscaping can get done and work orders are filled much faster. The apartments are good quality, but don't have balconies or dishwashers,
but they are fairly spacious, and the price is quite reasonable. I am satisfied for the price. The surrounding neighborhood is relatively upscale, and it is a good place for kids to play. There are few cars driving on the street, and the playground is fenced. I actually like it here.
