So I hate to be one of those people, but whoever gives this place a good review either has very low standards or is a member of the staff. For what we pay, I would expect a higher level of professionalism from the staff. Everytime I've gone to the office to ask for even the smallest little thing to be repaired, Amanda, the leasing agent jumps down my throat and won't even let me finish asking my question. Lee, the manager, lies/fibs about certain ammenties before you move in... all units are supposedly "condo quality" the main ammenity being double wall construction. I have had nothing but hassle with the amount of noise that can be heard, especally from above. Part of the noise issue comes from the fact that these apartments are essentially college dorms. Every weekend is like a kegger, broken bottles and boozed out kids hanging around the common areas. Not to mention the drugs deals I have witnessed and the lovely aroma of Marijuana that wafts through the corridors. It is also important to mention that the rent on our specific unit plan has risen $200 in the six months since we moved in, meaning if we were to re-sign a lease we would have to pay $200 more per month to be hassled by our neighbors and treated like garbage by the staff. I lived in crummy places back in college that treated me better than the staff here. I feel sorry for anyone who purchases a condo here, the residents must bring down their property value.

I agree with you. It is too bad and it appears that they will let anyone rent here just to fill them up. Pretty unfortunate for those of us who were hoping for a nice, quiet community. Definitely NOT a place for anyone over 25 that is done with the partying scene. There have also been vehicle break ins and misc. thefts here that the management denies. NOT good at all.

I 2nd the comments made above. I too lived at Apex and was so glad to move. The units are built as apartments and are NOT ... I repeat ... NOT condo quality because when buildings are built as condos they usually build the unit as if you were in a concrete box and noise is muffled. Apex is a joke and the staff does lie and will do nothing to support tenenants who pay their rent and who do not cause problems. Lee is a creep and Amanda is just kissing up to keep her job. The construction company who built Apex is building on the site at the Tacoma waterfront project in Ruston.

I agree with you 100%. I am pregnant and moved in here in August of 08 and there has been nothing but problems ... I hear furniture moving at 2am and other times and they act as though i am lying. People blasting their bass all hours of the day. When i go downstairs I feel as though its pointless. My husband is deploying in a few months and I want nothing more than to be out of these apartments. And to think I thought living in New Jersey for 27 years was bad. This past Sunday my dryer broke and its now Teusday and they still havent called me. There has to be something I can do to take care of these problems. And the cops are horrible too. I called to make complaints about the noise in building B and all they would do was drive by and ignore it. I can not wait to move on post. And anyone who refers people to these apartments for a $50 visa card must be desperate b/c i will never tell anyone to live here. Its a total waste of money and energy.
