Aravia Apartments

I happened to find Aravia by accident. After moving to Tacoma in 2002, I was driving around one day (looking for apts) and got a nail in my tire. Right when this happened, I was passing by Aravia and stopped to take a look at my tire (and oh, by the way, see what kind of apts they had). I'd seen the complex in brochures but never saw it up close. Thank you nail!

1) Monica is the best property manager I've ever come in contact with in my 15 years of apartment living. Every time you walk into the office you get a smile. It made my house feel like a home. She's on top of everything and is also a very good planner/coordinator (Taco Tuesday, pool parties, etc...).

2) Maintanance is top notch. They might not get to your problem the same day, but expect to have your problem fixed within 1-2 days.

3) The apartment interiors are superb!! Once you walk into a 2 BR (as I did), you'll be hooked. Very spacious, a huge deck, full size W/D, T1 internet access...the list goes on and on.

4) There is ample parking at Aravia. I'm not sure what the person who said there wasn't was thinking but there is. Granted, you have to pay for covered parking, but if you can afford the rent at Aravia, the fee for covered parking shouldn't be an issue.

5) With regards to the person who posted about getting their vehicle broken into; I hate that it happened to you but I believe it to be an isolated incident. I've never felt safer (plus the fact a Pierce County Sheriff's detachment is only 1/4 mile away from the complex).

I highly recommend this property. I'm currently deployed overseas and am seriously thinking of moving back. I think living in an apt complex for 4 years justifies the comments I've listed.
