An awful experience

Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2006
It seems to me that most of these reviews are written by the manager. I have lived here at Aravia for close to 3 years. I loved this place the first year. The apartments were clean and well kept. The grounds were clean as well, and felt safe. The second year (just about the time the new manager came) everything changed. I reluctantly signed another year on my lease. This last one has been horrible! Needless to say I will not be signing another lease. I'm out of here!
Here are some of the problems I have:
1. Maintainance does not take care of problems. They like to blame you when something goes wrong. What ever happened to Dean' At least he got the job done! And Ray' He was very friendly! Whoever this new guy is, he is terrible and RUDE.
2. The grass is turning brown and hasn't been maintained in about a month.
3. The buildings have not been cleaned since I have lived here. They all have mildew on the outside of them. Doesn't any one care about this property anymore'
4. I switched from a two bedroom to a three bedroom and it was filthy. I would have made them clean it but I didn't have the time with only one weekend off to move. I have heard through other residents that this is a common problem.
5. Now we have Pierce County Sherriff patroling the complex. If anything that makes me feel unsafe. Are the issues so serious here that we need that'
6. The parking here is terrible. That is one reason why I think that a manager wrote on of the reviews. If you live here you know that parking is a serious problem. So much so people had to park in a rocky area along the main street. All they did was fence it off and try to charge $15 a month for you to park in there. Crazy. Recently they put it out in the monthly newsletter to have your guests park in the vistor parking near the office, not the visitor parking in front of the buildings because we need to save those spaces for residents. Obviously there is a parking problem. I pay for my reserved parking, I do not believe I should make my guests park somewhere else to reserve a space for someone who doesn't pay for it. Visitor parking is suppose to be first come first serve.
7. The manager has a snotty attitude whenever you bring any problem about your apartment to her. Even then it never gets fixed by maintainance correctly.
This place is becoming more ghetto everyday that passes. I guess all of the owners attention is going to Sierra Sun.
