I am writing this review maybe to help out some of the future residents of this apartment complex. I moved in Aravia in August of 2007, My manager was a male, and he was extremely friendly, family oriented and trustworthy. That sold me. I move in and everything is great until about 2 months later.Then a new management team is hired by Aravia and this whole place goes down the toilet. Parking is a nightmare, and they charge $50.00 a month for covered parking.Most of the time someone parks in your spot.

Management tells you to call the tow truck yourself, it is their policy.

To make matters worse, we have the Pierce County Sheriff watching the complex due to car break ins.This place sucks and I cant wait until my lease is over. What happened to the management when I moved in here' My other neighbors complain of all these issues . Think twice before even dealing with unprofessional management like this, its not really worth it.

What? Are you serious? I have lived here for the last 6 months and the place is great! Our new manager is quite pleasant and always willing to help. Although parking became extremely full, the management already took care of the issue by adding a whole new parking lot. Issue solved! The person writing the above review obviously just wants something to complain about. Come and check it out for yourself...Don't let one sour puss ruin a possibly great experience for you!

Well, I am one of the "other neighbors" that live here and I can't agree with any of this criticism. Parking is troublesome at times but I rent out spaces to cut down on that problem. If you can afford the rent to live here, $50.00 for a parking spot is chump change. Obviously didn't see a good thing when they had it. And if this place is going down the toilet then consider me happy living in a toilet. There are far more worse places to live in my 11 years of renting apartments and this is not one of them. It is not clear as to why you can complain about the sheriff sitting watch over the complex. Makes more sense to feel safer having them here than to have crime in our community. Nonsense.

I lived there in 2005 and my husband's truck got broken into our first 2 months living there and yes the cops were aware of the place as it was popular for meth heads to break into resident's cars there. We lived there 5 months and I had to move, my husband was getting deployed and I did not feel safe there. Oh yeah, our neighbers car got broken into a few weeks after my husbands did.

My husband and I lived here for 14 months (from May 2007 until July 2008) and I loved it! Parking could sometimes get out of hand but we didn't want to rent a covered spot or a garage so we just delt with it. We could almost always find a spot close to our apartment (back by the pool) and managment did open up a whole new parking lot so I believe they took care of the problem as quickly as they could. I always loved the fact that the sheriff was there several times a day, made me feel safer. I also stayed there alone many times while my husband was away (in the Air Force) and never once felt unsafe by myself. My neighbors were always nice and courtesous as were the office staff, I would recommend this apartment to anyone who was looking.

iwe just moved here in october (2008) and we love it! KIM is great and caring person! she is helpful and knows her STUFF! i personally thinl she does a great job managing, my husband and i become busy and sometimes forget to pay water !wihch is a flat rate! awesome) and she kindly sends us a reminder! i am a very critial person (ask my husband) and the only thing i have to complain about is the weather... parking is a bit pricey but they opened up a parking lot right behind my complex so we hve no trouble there! if you want to really check out life at aravia come by and check it out its always clean peaceful and a great place to live any day of the week any time of day! christy brake!
