My husband and I were transfered to Tacoma with the Air Force. After getting a list of apartment complexes in the area from the base housing office, we began our search. Aravia was the first, and last, place we looked. When we got there, we were greeted by the maintance guy who was really nice and friendly. He showed us the model until and we were sold. We actually filled out an application right then and there! We had a 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment and it was very big. The floorplan is excellend, light, and open which makes it feel even bigger. The area around the complex is quite beautiful and the managment team was great to work with. We lived there for 14 months and had very few problems and the problems we did have were the same problems you have at any apartment you will live in. You can sometimes hear the neighbors and sometimes it's hard to find a spot to park. That's it. My husband and I could almost always find a place to park near our apartment and, if we couldn't, it was usually because it was quite late at night (midnight or later) when we got home. We always felt safe there and there were times I had to stay in the apartment alone and even came home late when I was alone and I never felt unsafe.

The managment team was changed out during the time we lived there but, the people who took over were just as nice and friendly as the ones who left. I felt as if they handled any problems that came up with speed and friendly service. The apartment itself looked brand new and we just loved it. We would recommend this place to anyone looking!
