The apartments are very nice.

My Space in my one bedroom apartment is decent for myself.
Although I just moved out of a house, I think it was OK.

Management recently changed and there are new owners.

They "renovated" the exteriors, new windows and re-surfaced the parking lots.

They also raised the rent from $550 for one bedroom to $750.

$200 difference.

When I moved out, my month-to-month rent was $905.

Quite high for a one bedroom and they will tack on an extra $50 if you don't renew your lease.

I don't know how the others are dealing with this raise in rent, but I think for that rent price there is a condominium that can be bought for that amount of monthly rent.

I've talked with management about cutting me some slack but they didn't really care much.

I think it's time for me to move.

I have lived here for a couple or so years and with that I think letting me go and not giving me a break is just hard.

I have paid my rent on time since I moved in, most of the time I pay a couple or so days in advance cause I would be out of town.

I love my apartment.

It's a quiet neighborhood.

One drawback, if you live near the "lake" you will also welcome mosquitoes in your apartment.

Another thing to watch out for are the birds living under the roof inside the walls, somehow they get in there and set up residency.

I put in a work order and was told that it will be done in the spring, spring came and I endured waking up to birds chirping for a few months.

I hope they get it corrected for the next tenant.

I can't wait till I find the house that I have been searching for. I am done with this apartment BS. I just received a final move out bill of $200 with The Lakes at Fife for cleaning and boy did they made sure I paid the sewer/water/garbage at $67 a month x2. That's on top of the $905 a month they charge. Almost $1ooo for a one bedroom apartment!
