Depends on what part you live in

Well, my sister's car was stolen here and the management didn't seem sensitive to that. Also, my car was subject to a hit and run which also created further financial problems. When I moved, I offered to clean the carpet and they said, "Oh no, don't worry about it." Then they replaced the carpet and tried to charge me $1200 for the carpet and another months rent. Then, I fell in the parking lot breaking my arm due to a pothole by the garbage bin, again management seemed to be insensitive to this problem. When I first moved in, there were interesting perks, like a paddle boat (that is now gone) and fishing (that is now gone)and what is left is a nice view of the pond.
Quality of life generally is not bad. We lived by the pool and my daughter enjoyed that. The geese, ducks and wildlife was serene and pleasant. Maintenance was prompt and friendly. Rent continues to go up while the perks go down. Some parts have more problems than others because they lease out to mental health agencies among others. If you are going to live there, get on the pond and close to the office. Its a bit safer there, but make sure your car has an alarm. ALL aparment complexes have drug problems now and there is no escape from it. Drug use is epidemic and it is hard to get rid of them once they are in. Organize block watches within your area and that will help.
