I Lived here on an upper floor, one bedroom. Moved here after I lost my house and 5 acres in a divorce. Big difference from having piece and quiet to having neighbors on both sides slamming kitchen cabinets and pounding their feet as they go up stairs. I lived on the front lake. The first few nites, the noise from the birds ( swans, geese and ducks) kept me awake. I soon adjusted. Never got used to the bird crap everywhere, and let me tell you, those &*&%*ers are mean. Same thing as everyone else. It would have been nicer to havea bigger kitchen, larger bathroom with cabinet space. Othere storages areas of the apartment I was in was adequate. I thought the grounds were well maintained. I hated the security gate and wondered why the hell they put it in. I cant tell you how many times i got stuck out in the middle of traffic on Mildred because of a backup at the gate created by some one who did not know how to use the gate or forgot their card. My car was never broken into or messed with. Cable that you have to buy from the complex sucked big time. If it even looked like it was gonna rain, it crapped out. I could have done better with a coat hanger for an antennae. Neighors were not bad at all. The pool was excellent. They did make a few improvements when I was there. I got a new deck and new double paned windows. Before the windows, it got colder than hell in there. I enjoyed my 1 and a half stay there but when I moved out, watch it. They will do what they can to keep your deposit and even try to add more on to your bill. Do a walk through and stick to your guns. Dont let the apartment manager give you any crap. I ended up losing my deposit and they tacked on another 90 dollars!!! I have contacted a Haitian voodoo priest and now have a curse on the manager...haha. Overall, I enjoyed my stay there. A year and a half were more than enough.

You left out the part where the managers could not possibly care less about noise complaints. The "courtesy patrol" is less than useless, they are too stupid to understand that if someone idiot hears a knock, they turn off their after hours noise. No one should move in here. Neighbors are whackjobs.
