I lived there for 8 yrs. I was initially attracted by the parklike surroundings and continued living there in spite of several problems. For one, the management and leasing agents are Stepford Wives in that the smiles are forced and their responses are carefully scripted, but there is no caring or humanity evident in their dealings with tenants. A few times they made a bookkeeping error and thought I was late with my rent. I had a scary, stern notice taped to my door when returning home from work. Actually, my rent was 100% on time for the 8 years I lived there. When the error was revealed, there was never any sort of apology or regret for my anxiety and inconvenience. That pretty much sums up the attitude of the staff. As for my apartment, I was on the top floor with vaulted ceilings and in the summer it was in the mid to high 90's by late evening because of no insulation in the roof area. The laundry facilities were inadequate because the dryers were so old the elements needed replacing and each dryer load required not one hour but longer to get dry. Telling this to the management was useless. I actually had one tell me, "you can go to a laundromat if you don't like the ones here, you know." That attitude left me realizing this has to be the worst apartment management in the entire city, maybe the entire state of Washington. I tried writing to the company that owns Lakeside Landing but never had a response there either.

I fully agree with these statments having been a resident at Lakeside Landing too.
