Madrona Ponite sucks much a$$!!!!!!!!! All the so-called "great"reviews you read here about the place are actually posted by the office sluts. First off, start with the big a$$ hill that you can't drive up when it snows because the maintenance and office people are too lazy to get off their a$$' to put de-icer out so you can get home. Last year (Dec '05) people had to leave their cars at the bottom of the hill over night risking theft because they couldn't get up the hill. This past week, our walk ways never got de-ice. One guy slipped on the walked and wasn't happy when he got up. And yes, I have to agree with the other post. The kids pee in the dryers and the office doesn't care. THe kids also throw the rocks that some lame brain thought was a good idea to place next to a playground which is next to a parking lot. True, the landscape looks good. They spend time painting the curbs instead of fixing whats broke in the apartments. The felow that fall told me that he had to threaten the office with a lawsuit to get them to fix his disposal. Another person had to throw her dishwater out the back because her sink was never fix. As far as Tacoma PD, in the last 2 weeks, when I came home, I've personally saw them here at least 4 times with 3 cars each time.I couldn't check my mail this past week because they didn't de-ice the walk way. Now, as far as the garbage goes, looks like Tacomas dump came up from under the apartments. The compacter is always full of so we have to throw our garbage on the side. The whole complex smells like garbage when it gets hot out which leads me to believe that this place is rally built on top of a garbage dump. Ironic since it sits next to a dump. Whatever you do, do not move here. THey don't care about the tenants, all they want is your rent and deposit. Once you're in, you're stuck. Last thing, at night, that icy hill is completely dark so if someone is walking, you won't see them. Also, a great place to hide if ou're looking for a place to break-in or to rob someone.
