When my boyfriend and I first moved in, our apartment already looked dirty. During the time we lived there, we heard our loud neighbors and dogs, saw dog poop everywhere, and the parking sucked. We also had several work orders that took almost 5 months to get looked at, despite constant reminders. Nevertheless, we were mostly satisfied with our place and only moved because we found a better deal elsewhere.
As we were moving out, however, we were charged $300 for a full paint job, despite the lack of anything wrong with our walls. After a month of fighting the fee and dealing with the indifferent, evasive staff, they finally dropped it. These last interactions with Madrona Pointe were sadly enough to flavor our entire experience there.

We're moving out after 5 years and I'm sure that they're going to try and charge us for carpet and paint. The carpet they have is cheap and now worn and the walls need to be repainted. But what do you expect after 5 years? This place wasn't even in new condition when we moved in. If they try to charge us, we're sue them.
