Notice on all the rent sites that there are NO pictures of the interiors' They boast about how it has been renovated but they only slapped on a paint job and landscaped! We moved in may 2008 and moved out april 2009. Let me start off with when we were about to move in. Red flag number one: We called to double check our move in date and lo' and behold they did not have it "ready" and thought we were moving in in 3 weeks. They ended up switching us and another person who hadnt moved in yet because their apt was ready. When we moved in, it was not even clean, and they had washed the carpets supposedly and could not leave the windows open so they left this "fragrance bomb" go off. It smelled like ---- and left a residue everywhere!!!
Trust me, I looked at this website before I moved there and thought it was just a few whiny people talking about hearing neighbors (hello, its an APARTMENT buy a house then!!!). But this place really is as bad as everyone says it is.
I have 2 labs, yes I know.....They are good boys and listen to us, but the ----- next door told the office that they were being roudy because one time one of them ran out after a bird that flew onto her porch(we lived on the bottom) and i said sorry and thought it was cool, but then we found a warning on our door the next week saying we were letting our dogs out without a leash and not picking up their poop ( never happened, good thing they look into things).
They put a notice for us to get evicted because somehow our w.s.g. bill was late and we didnt pay the $7 late fee. Also, we found out after the first month we were going to get evicted because we didnt pay 10 pet rent.....THEY NEVER TOLD US about the pet rent because we were going to make payments on the pet deposit so we never signed that part of the lease....those idiots!!!
A couple months before we were finally out, our breaker box blew and we had no power for a couple DAYS. They sent out a contractor to replace it. This guy said the breaker box was 30 YEARS OLD (and they dont make them anymore). Now how can a fully renovated place have a 30 year old breaker box'''''''
The appliances are ancient. When we moved in I thought our dog kept peeing by the front door, but it was the washer water soaking through the wall!! The pipe that takes the water out of the washer is not secured but is hooked into another pipe and comes out easily. when i figured it out, it had come out all the way and flooded my kitchen. The just skimp on everything, im sure there are building codes being violated....
One last thing...I don't know how or what it is, but there might be some rotting going on in the walls. Our apartment grew mold all around the windows (which are cheap single pane) and we are not dirty people. Our dogs would chew on the walls closest to the floors, which I think is a sign something is growing because they never did that before!
Just one final thought: Everything about this place was cheap garbage from the workout room, the tanning bed which they change the bulbs once a year (the "concierge" told me), the appliances, the cabinets..EVERYTHING. it is totally not worth settling for this place!! If you have big dogs this is not the only place. I live in Puyallup now where they take big dogs and the places are really nice!!!!
Oh yea and the staff really are all stupid!!! It really is true that they change staff every 3-6 months or they quit. AND They lie! When we had our first tour this guy was getting "trained" and after two weeks, we moved in he was somehow the assistant manager''' ....whatever, this place aint worth the hassle!!!
