My husband and I lived at Madrona Pointe from Jan. 07 to Jan 08 and during the whole time we lived there we were angel tenants. Always paid on time, never had complaints from neighbors, and left the apartment cleaner when we left than what it looked like when we moved in. Also during the time we lived there, maintenance fixed NOTHING. We lived the whole year with a faulty fridge, a sink drain that was constantly breaking down that we had to try to fix ourselves, and a moist/moldy ceiling in part of our bathroom that was coming from upstairs. Our downstairs neighbors would always send marijuana smoke up into our window, and our upstairs neighbors had the cops called on them once a month for domestic violence issues. There are also a lot of people that are apparently incapable of picking up their dogs ---- because it was everywhere. AND THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING! We moved out in Jan 2008 and even though our apartment was spotless (we had it professionally cleaned), they charged us $320 for no reason! When I tried to get them to take off the charges they made excuses, so I finally gave in and paid it - the FULL $320. We have been moved out for a year and a half now and during a background check for another apartment we were looking at we found out that Madrona Pointe had sent us to collections for that very $320 that we had paid 18 months before!!! No one ever contacted us about it, they just took the money and ran with it and now we have to work our asses off to get our credit cleared so we can get another apartment. I would not suggest this apartment to anyone. They are scammers and get you really good when you need to move out - even when you aren't even breaking a lease! And definitely take pictures when you move in AND when you move out, and keep all of your receipts when you pay for anything so you have proof when they try and screw you over years later.
