Our first lease is almost up and we couldn't be happier. There are raids fairly often, maintenance consists of replacing broken parts with working parts from vacant apartments--even so, it can still take a few days--there is no AC unless you provide your own, the rent is steep considering they don't cover even one utility. A studio apartment is $550 and a 1 bedroom is $600. Add about $75 for utilities paid through them and you still need to cover your own electricity. About the only positive is the quiet here. Honestly, if I never looked outside, I wouldn't even notice the raids. And now the buildings are being painted. Refreshing to see the puke green go, but now it's being replaced by a lot of egg yolk yellow. It's horrendously bold and bright. The pet deposit was $350/pet, I think. Thank goodness we don't have any. There are about five washers and dryers and some people will use more than one at a time. Sometimes it can be hard to find any available. Two of the dryers don't dry well at all, even after 2 hours.
