I have lived at monterra for about two years, and aside from the occational apartment noise I have loved my time here. The office staff is professional and very helpful. I woould recomend anyone to live here and have.

This is a terrible place to live. I have lived here in Monterra for 6 years and it is horrible. Car break ins, bike thefts, drug and prostitution, and the discrimination of Section 8 tenants. They charge more and keep raising the rent incredibly high every year. It is horrible. I would love to move, but they raised the rent so high, I am having a hard time saving up money to move!

then why do you still live there? Figure a way out.. I did.. I hated it there - but moved as soon as my 6 mo lease was up because the noise was unbearable at night. So many people being evicted, and people just not giving a care in the world to the fact that people actually live around them!

Feb 2007. I live near the front and have loved it for over a year now. I love the layout, fireplace, nice modern counter tops, full washer and dryer, and large bathrooms. My neighbors are great. My main complaint is the fitness gym dose not have longer hours. The office staff and maintenance team are great! The rent is pricey, But I feel very safe. I really do enjoy my apartment. I have noticed police cars and security monitoring the complex on several occasions and I have not had any one break in my car - Observation from hardworking, Christian, educated, woman.

You must be one of the many drug users and morons pealing out late at night for you to lie out of your butt. The reality is this place as well as the Tacoma/Lakewood/Parkland/Spanaway/Midland area isn't safe to begin with. You take a chance living in this area for either: 1. The appearance of nice apartments. 2. To get away with crime rather easily. 3. Ignorant tenants who have no consideration for anyone else who let crackheads in and frighten everyone else. 4. Management scheming to rip you off just as bad as any other criminal out there.
