Feb 2007. I live near the front and have loved it for over a year now. I love the layout, fireplace, nice modern counter tops, full washer and dryer, and large bathrooms. My neighbors are great. My main complaint is the fitness gym dose not have longer hours. The office staff and maintenance team are great! The rent is pricey, but I feel very safe. I really do enjoy my apartment. I have noticed police cars and security monitoring the complex on several occasions and I have not had any one break in my car, nor seen drug activity - Observation from hardworking, Christian, educated, woman.

I am a hardworking, educated and a Christian too, although I fail to see the relevance. I totally disagree with your observation. Drug activity is an hourly part of Monterra life. The security situation is awful. A member of Monterra staff informed me only two days ago that they where very unhappy with the security and the fact they where not on hand, as they should have been, for the semi-automatic weapon incident on Saturday night. The management are rude. Roxanne is very much out of her league and her frustration at not being competent comes across in her very poor attitude. She often talks in very unprofessional terms about residents behind their backs and has been caught out on more than one occasion. I cannot disagree with your observation of the actual apartment. Behind closed doors they are realy comfortable. I think, perhaps, the fact you live at 'the front' is probably why you have not seen a great deal of the more lurid element of living here. I think that is further testament to the practical application of a very good first impression that unfortunately does not reflect the standards in the rest of the apartments.

the appartments are fairly safe, good layout, but has a poor gym and no basketball court, also the pool closes very early

My apartment is nice too .But back here in the 3 bedroom 2 bath area its ghetto compared to the front area......and thats an improvement from a few years back ! Some real freaks and creeps are allowed to move in and it just ain't right . Most of the problem people end up moving in the middle of the night sooner or later....but then more move in ! If you are a normal working class ,non ebonics speaking person please move in !! We need more decent neighbors !! Oh yeah......why do 90% of the people who live here SPIT all the time ? Sickening !
