At first glance Monterra is a really nice community. Well kept grounds with hardy fauna giving a park like impression. However, spend a night or two here. Deal with kids running rampant at all hours of the day and night. Worse of all is deal with regular gunfire or perhaps you will be the next resident that has a gun pointed to your head and your car shot up because of the gang warfare going on here(a middle aged lady who had nothing to do with anything returning from work.) Full of Crips/Folks/Bloods at war.

I live in this neighborhood and there is no where near as much gang activity or gunfire as this person is claiming there is. These apartments are just off one of the busiest streets in the area with state patrol and pierce county sheriff's driving up and down it every 10 minutes or so. This area is much safer than described.

I am not the original poster, but it's obvious that either you have not lived here since last summer OR you are oblivious to your surroundings. Ask for a police report from Pierce County about local shooting sprees from these apartments last summer. It's a matter of public record. Then try to make your claim that there is no gang activity, k? There actually was a middle aged lady coming home from work and had her car sprayed with bullets. It will happen again this summer, as well.

The biggest problem is all the good tenants need to band together and stand up and take back the area .Stop hiding behind your miniblinds and speak up !
