Don't even bother calling the manager (there have been over 12 managers over the past 5 years and they outright lie about the living conditions) During my residency from 10/1996 to March 2001 there were two gun shootings and 5 automobile burglaries at Orchard Terrace. They rent to drug dealers, prostitutes as documented in Tacoma Police reports. The tenants are extremely noisy, slamming exterior and interior doors. There is much domestic violence in many of the units. I have personally spoken with previous tenant from as far back as the early 90s and they all have the same impression. DO NOT LIVE THERE!

From July 2002 until Sept 2004 when I deployed I lived at this apartment complex. I went on vacation to Arizona for my birthday and Christmas. The night I returned home my vehicle was burglarized...the theives getting away with about $2k in stereo equipment and another $1500 in cds that were hidden in the truck of my car. The managers did nothinig but shrug their shoulder and look the other way. No matter how many times a vehicle was broken into or there were domestic disputes in the parking lot did the managers EVER do something about it. The tenants asked for surveilance cameras to be put up but nobody wanted to give up the money. Its a horrible place to live.
