I lived in this apartment for 3 years. I was never late with my rent, never had complaints and was never bothered by tenants or management. Then 20 days before Christmas 2003 Myself and 108 other tenants were given a notice to vacate our apartments. The only tenants not asked to leave were military and elderly/disabled. We were given no reason and by law they aparently did not have to. All of our last months rent and deposits were held for many many different reasons. Needless to say myself and other tenants have filed suit and most of us have sucessfully sued and were given the return of our money. Other cases are still pending.



The grounds are terrible, up keep is minimal. The 4 play yards are pieces of wood in the dirt. You had to walk all the way around to the back, dark unlite corner of the complex to take your trash to a compactor. And it was always over flowing with trash. Nasty stinky mess. Very unsafe area!



Yes, security is at the apartment, but it is in the way of two Pierce County Sheriffs cars. I always wondered what was happening in our complex that management wasn?t telling us. I was pulled over twice in 4 months and asked why I was coming and going in the complex.....duh, I lived there!! My guests were randomly pulled over and asked the same insane question. Every neighbor I knew went through the same thing at least once.



There were many problems durring the year that management swithched. But, I held tough thinking things would work themselves out. No apartment is totally without yelling tenant and destrutive kids, you just hope you have management that handles these situations well. They failed misserably. Over 1 year we saw 5 different managers, and when you had a question you received 5 different responses.



I would never recommend any apartment managed by Pinnacle reality. Not after the way I saw them treat their tenants. I moved into a crappy apartment. It was not painted, the carpet was in terrible condition. When it came time to move they charged me for new paint, and carpet. Even when my original walk through stated they were "old and damaged. Tenant not resposible for condition."



Take my advice skip Pinnacle owned apartments all together. And, if you are ever in the situation where a management company is with holding your money go to small claims court. It costs $30 to file your claim. The law is on the tenants side and you will get your money back with an apology!



I live in a great complex now and see every little detail they failed in providing. Please don?t put yourself into the position with this property. They have a terrible reputation for a reason!
