I lived here for 21/2 years and will leave once the lease expires this May.

I lived in apartments for decades and this place is the WORST of them all. The others were not the best either, like the North end area when the Polynesian Village was around that went bankrupt was even better than this place.

Day 1 - My washer was making funny noises and the smell of something burning, I turned it off and contacted the maintenance man the next day. He did not fix it until 3 days later (hello, I need a washer as I am a single mother with 2 kids).

3 days later - I come home from work and the guy fixed that problem with the noise and smell of fumes so I do a load of laundry and my son discovered that it was severely flooding the area. Bad flood' The maintenance man came the next day to clean up the water, and left me a note that the washer was looked at, something was adjusted with the hose and they tried working it 3 times and found no problems.

2 days later I did my first load of laundry after that incident only for it to flood even more right before the rinse cycle.

I paged the man same night and he sort of accused me of maybe breaking it or doing something wrong.

Now it's another day but my rooms are still flooded as the man did not bother to clean it up the next business day and he "might make it in tomorrow.

Sorry it's so long but after this experience I strongly advise anyone and everyone to stay away from the Pointe East Apartments.
