While I was living here the management broke into my house and changed the locks on my door because of a "leaky waterheater," which they didn't even look at because nothing was moved in the closet where it was covered up by my stuff. Makes me wonder what they were doing inside my apartment and why they broke in, I guess they lost their copy of the key. But with all the drug traffic through here it doesn't surprise me a bit. I don't expect peace and quiet in apartments but at least after the hours of 9 or 10pm. My neighbors beside me played techno all hours of the evening and the guy below me played spanish music all the way untill 1 am most weekends, so if you work weekends be carefull when choosing an apartment here. Also the lawnmower and leafblower come right next to your windows at 7 am twice a week. The apartment is falling apart. The bathtub is leaning to one side so water sits on the opposite side of the drain and generates mold especially where the cracks and holes are, yes it leaks too. The deck is covered in some kind of latex paint which wasn't applied right because there was a glob that never completely dried until a couple months after I was there and tracked it into the house. But what would you expect for the rent... at least the high speed internet from click is the best value so far in tacoma. 29 a month for 1.5m down and 128k up is pretty good compared to everything else available here. Especially comcast is rediculous asking 49 for the same speed. oh well.
The gym here is way run down and looks like everything there was donated. Theres no treadmill or bike either, just some wierd contraptions seen on tv.
As for parking, plan to park a block away.
