I actuallu enjoy th eoverall setting of Chamber's Creek. I live in Phase I atop the hill and it is relativley quiet. Rent is fair in comparison to the competition and most...not all of the staff are friendly and easy to get along with. WIth every pro there must be a Con and I have several of them. Speed bumps!'! Ok for one thing all speed bumps do is punish those that DO NOT speed through the complex. If you take notice the peopl ethat fly through the complex and down the hill before the speed bumps were there are still doing it. The only ones that are not "flying" down the hill are the ones that never did it to begin with. I must agree with another tenant who mentioned the poor lighting in the parking lot. I feel very unsafe if I return to my aprtment late at night and all of the close parking spots are taken and I have to park at the far end of the lot near the dumpsters and recycle area.
I too had a complaint about a clog in my bathtub. I had only been there for one night when I notice that I was standning in 6-7 inches of mucky water when I took a shower. I reported it and I was told to buy some Drano. WHAT! Maybe if I had been here for a month istead of one day but they had the Gall to tell me to fix it myself. Finally after formal complaint it was resolved but after a short while the problem returned. My toilet runs constantly and three work orders were put in and still nothing. Last but not least when I did my first intial glance a t teh apartment before signing my lease I notice a hole in the bedroom door where someone must have gotten angry and punched it. I was told thta it would be replaced BEFORE i moved in. Needless to say that I have been there for over a year and it has not been resolved. The first time that I mentioned the door they came up to "fix " my running toilet (still not fixed) and they also told me that I had to pay for the door.
What the hell! THey must have very poor maintence records.
The worst complaint that I have about Chamber's Creek is the maintenance...everything else meets my satisfaction. With all of that aside I would recommend someone to Chamber's Creek , but only if they have the tolerance to deal with slow resposes to maintenance problems.
