this complex seemed so nice when i was first looking. lakewood is not a prticularly nice area so many of the apartments here are not nice but sealey lake seemed to be really nice. they do have extra amenities like tanning for a small fee which sucks, an indoor and outdoor pool and an excercise room so small and crowded with very old equipment that i didn't want to use it. the price is so astonamically high b/c of these amenities that you may not really use. the outer apperance, and inner for the most part, look really nice. it is also quite convenient to get to either military base or quick shopping. the problem(s) i had when i lived there were noise, fighting and solicitation. i am young and like to listen to music and entertain my friends, but there were times that even i was bothered by the noise which is just part of apartment life. there were always fights and people shouting. the management mistakenly accused me of making this noise and sent a notice to me anout possible eviction. they never even sent their "security" to check where it was actually coming from. they also kept my deposit and charged me over $600 when i moved. they said there was pet urine in my carpet and they had to replace it. i never had a pet... EVER! then they tried to charge me a pet deposit b/c if there was urine i obviously must have had a pet. the carpet had stains all over it and it was documented but i had to fight with them about it b/c they didn't have a copy of my inspection. so if you move there keep all your records and be super picky when you inspect your apartment and ask them to go through it with you so you can be sure they acknowledge it.
