This apartment is the worst! thieves breaking in cars, stealing stereos, laundry room is a nigthmare. Be careful when doing laundry you will bust some ------- taking your clothes out of the machines when you woke up early to do your laundry! besides stolen clothes and soap.they just painted the laundry room for what' just to make it look dull with a sad color. Mold problems in every unit. I have heard everybody who live here complaining about the mold and what maintenance do' they just paint over the mold and that's it! But it grow back even worse until you get sick breathing bacteria or even you get short of breath. The windows....they brag about the million dollar view... however windows are a messy and blury even when you clean it you can't even see outside. Noise! there is somebody living above me who is hammering the walls or something else...he starts 4pm to 10pm, then 11pm to 9 am...For God sake!! No respect for his neighbors during sleep at all ! Staff does nothing about it. ahh Crackheads smoking weed 1rs,2nd,5th,7th,12th floors, the smell comes in the rooms and you just get sick. I have called the police and of course they never come! Not very propt to fix your issues such as the sink in the kitchen bathtub, leaks coming from the toilet! Also There is always been construction noise around this apartment you can't even leave your windows open in the summer time because you will not rest. if you want to live miserable and brag about the view only if you open the unfixed window and if you love neigbors/construction noise and get high with the weed smell, come to Vista del rey.

...I thought crackheads did...crack? I believe you are looking for the word "pothead" and yes, I noticed that while I was living there, too. I believe the person on the 1st floor has a prescription for medical marijuana, though. Doesn't make it smell any better, though.

Unfortunately there is a lot of truth to the top post, although the druggy element is not as apparent as it was during a particular time. However, the other issues are right on, and many have had mold problems. Also, there has been a high turnover in tenants during the past few years, probably coinciding with when the new management company took over.
