We have been here about 5 months. We are leaving (special circumstances with the lease, we didnt have a full year)in January. We will be glad when we are gone, but will miss a couple things too.

First the good. If you get one of the larger one bedroom places, they are very nice. I liked the layout and the open kitchen. Very nice balcony with its own storage area. The bathroom is not smallish like a lot of other apartments are. Having a working fire place is a must, it makes late night movie watching great.

Now the bad. NOISE, NOISE, NOISE. Not just in one apt. having a party that night. I mean everywhere. Fri. and Sat. are hard nights to get any sleep. Parking is terrible. Forget having any visitors, there is not enough for the people renting. The garbage dumpsters can be like two city blocks from your apt. You'll have to put the garbage in your car and drive it there (I'm being honest here, this is not an exageration to make a point, people DRIVE their garbage bags to the dumpster). Security is avg. There was a stabbing here, and it involved tennants fighting with one another.

Nov. 2008
Just adding an addition to the review. I did not mention anything about maintenence since I had no experience with them at the time I wrote this review. Now I have. The week of Thanksgiving, our washer unit stopped working. I called and informed them of this on Monday. They asked for permission to enter the apt. and take care of it "as soon as we possibly can." Went away for the week, came back Sat. No progress thus far. I know its a holiday week, but that is just slow response in my book. So, add poor maintenence response time to the above review.

Dec. 2008
Another addendum. We called the office again aboutt he washer. It was replaced the next day. The work order from the first call was "misplaced". So this is a plus and minus addition to the review.

Jan. 2009
Last addition. Well, we were here during the snow of Dec. 08 and early Jan. 09. This place doesnt plow their property at all. It was impossible to get in or out of the place for about two days. Forget living here. They could cut their rates in half and I'd still say it is not worth it. mgFDbN4-dhkSMZ7zRmVH

not happy I lived in westridges for 2yrs and found they have bad management when the storm of 2007 cause water damage to the roof and leaked into the apartment it took the property 3 months to fix the the peeling paint and rotted ceiling. The apartment complex also has a huge mold problem. I cost of sewage keeps increasing I started off paying $45 a month now I'm paying $68 a month it cost more than my electric bill, the trash compactor keeps breaking which causes people to leave their trash all over the ground which can be a major concern with rodents. The office staff has very poor customer service, there is no real focus on the customer they schedule apointments with tennants and don't keep them they don't call to inform them of the change they know once they show then property go oh I'm sorry I forgot to call you anyway, they also close the office down during the week without notifying tenenats of the property. Tennants who require sevice for maintennace can only be service from 9-4 during the week. Their maintenance team only work Mon -Fri from 9-4 there is no emergency team on standby an when I needed service with my heat, the maintenance heating issue had to wait until that Monday and still did get fixed unitl that Wednesday, They rent icreases with lease renewal based on your income I started out paying $1000 and ended up with 1100 and was getting another rent increase but don't know the amount because I moved. There is no management in the office during the weekend so I would not recommend you move to the westridges

Wow, sorry about all that anonymous. Hope your new apt. is better for you. Yeah, I feel bad for people stuck here by a lease. It'd be hard to take this place for a whole year.
