I lived at Pyramid Pointe for almost four years. I am a single female and I never experienced any of the crime that others have noted. I had a brand new Honda Accord when I moved in. It was never broken into or damaged. I had two small dogs that I walked around the complex at night and never had a problem. I felt safe there the entire time.

I didn't like the rent hikes, each time it was contact signing time. My neighbors contract renew notice was put on my door by mistake. We lived in the exact same apartments, only he had lived there for a few years less. His rent was way less money. I had been a good renter for years, never paying my rent late. They really needed to examine this when considering a rent hike.

Also, the parking spot next to mine had been empty for about two years. I had asked management to notify me when someone was useing it. One night I came home and my friends truck was in the process of being towed. We had to pay about $100 just for them to unhook the tow. When I asked management why they hadn't notified me, they said they didn't remember ever telling they would.

Pyramid Pointe has a zero tolerance for felons. You have to pay for a back ground check in order to move in. I was looking at the Sexual Preditor, Megans Law list on the internet. I saw a picture of a man who's address matched up with the apartment complex. I took in the report to the office and they had the man move out of the complex. The man had been living at the Pointe since the mid 90's, before the policy was established.
