My boyfreind lives at West Colonial and I left my car in "his" spot and went to Portland for the weekend. He called me on Monday (I extended my weekend), to tell me that my car was not in his spot. There was only two possible scenarios one was that it was stolen, the other that it got towed. The second option made no sense to me as I was parked in his spot...or so I thought. Long story short: found out it was towed, left a ton of nasty messages to the complex, then eventually spoke to someone and found out that in fact it was not my boyfreind's spot (someone had parked in his and it threw me off a spot) and that they had left several warnings (but I was in portland and my boyfreind did not go to his spot till monday)..so basically it was my fault really and truly but no matter what $270 is a lot of money...the manager I spoke to (Emily) could have been just as rude to me as I was to her on the messages, but instead she was very understanding and helpful and even said she would write off some of my boyfreind's rent to help us out. We both moved here from Portland, and rent in the Seattle area is crazy compared to Portland, but this apartment complex is very reasonanble and above all the management went out of their way for someone who is not even a resident.
